Gardening with Toddlers: Part Three

All things considered, gardening with the toddler is going quite well. Sure, I think he's taking perverse joy in "accidentally" chasing me, or anyone else who happens by, down and spraying us with the hose, but really, it's going better than expected.
He is so proud of how well his vegetables are growing. Check out the development with the potatoes!
It helps that he loves potatoes.
Yes, that's marker. He says it's for his baseball team. Apparently baseball requires face painting. Don't worry, it's washable. :-)
Next year I think we'll try the laundry hamper lined with repurposed screen (to reduce soil loss) instead of the big buckets. More sun that way. Sun is good, or so the garden gurus tell me.
