Rather, a Moby Wrap. Snapdragon, however, is fairly convinced it's a teether.It's UV treated, which is kinda cool, but let me reiterate, Snapdragon thinks it's a teether.
I won it from the forums over at Babywearing, and I have to say, I squeed. I squeed a lot. I squeed like a tween who just spotted Johnny Depp. I squeed.
I also won a matching pair of babylegs (as he is so cutely sporting) and the Moby swaddling blanket.
Of course, I'm very impatient, so as soon as the package arrived, I had to tear into it and start reading the directions. They look a little intimidating the first time you pull out yard after yard of fabric with a complicated drape and wrap how-to pictorial guide, but it didn't take long and I had it secured, thank goodness. Slipping snapdragon in and out isn't too hard, but I have to say, I'm not entirely sure how breastfeeding in it is any easier than out of it. I mean, to get him in a sidewaysish position was really complicated, involved taking him out, adjusting it, and putting him back in, and I think it would have been easier to just hold him to feed him.
Of course, our first attempt at nursing in the Moby was at a Barnes and Noble, so it's not like I wasn't under any pressure to get it done right, quickly, and without making a scene.
It might have been easier if I'd been wearing a plunging v-neck instead of a t-shirt.
All in all, he sorta loves it, but mostly for it's value as a mommy hugging teething device.
So yeah, I <3 it.
Of course, this hasn't prevented me from entering this months giveaway for a hella-cool adjustable pouch sling... I figure he'll teeth on it too if he has half a chance!

Oh I love my Moby - we don't use it so much anymore but I think it will be the favorite again when the fsll comes back around!!!

I <3 my Moby, and wear it all the time from birth until around 8 months. Oliver was my second Sprout that I used it with... and yk, I never got the hang of nursing in it either. LOL
What is the learning curve on figuring out how to get it on? I have been looking at the moby for awhile now but am overwhelmed by the wrap carriers.
I ordered a WAHM non-Moby wrap and I have used it very successfully grocery shopping with my 4 month old and her 3 year old brother, as well as through the airports on trips. I definitely <3 the wrap. It didn't take too long to figure out how to use it, after I watched some tutorials on YouTube (way better than the Moby instructions). However, I'd really really like to be able to nurse in it, and I haven't figured that one out either. I guess I should practice around the house, but I've been too lazy, er... busy with everything else. :)
p.s. My ladybug thinks the wrap is a teether too, until she falls asleep in it, which is usually what she does.
I was thinking seriously about a Moby, but decided to make a cotton gauze wrap. I understand the Moby is a heavier (warmer) fabric, and very stretchy... and since Elliott was born, I've pretty much been sweating constantly (thank you, hormones!!!). I also have two discs in my lower back that like to bulge, and I need a wrap with lots of support.
You look so comfy, and the matching BabyLegs? ADORABLE!!!

The learning curve is pretty short. After the first time, I feel like I don't need the instructions any more. I was surprised how easy it turned out to be.
Jennifer, if I was buying a wrap, I too would probably go with something WHAM made, because I like to support the mamas.
Pamela, how does your gauze wrap work for you? The fabric isn't very thick, but I can see how a little less stretch might be nice for back trouble.
